Things I Love Today: Coupling
Admittedly, I’m always a sucker for BBC sitcoms. As Time Goes By reruns are a favorite and I grew up laughing to Faulty Towers hijinks.
My newest obsession is Coupling. It’s been on BBC America every night at 10 pm this week. It’s a little racy, but not raunchy, and super clever. I even caught Rob laughing out loud at a few of the scenes, a bit hit for someone who usually watches TV while also working on the laptop and practicing ukulele.

Oh my god, yes! I love this show, it showed on my local PBS station years ago when the network version (Ick!) was on. No comparison. I developed quite a crush on Jeff, truly reminded me of an old boyfriend, except Jeff had a job.
Here’s a list of the best quotes from the show that I saved to my Favorites.
I love Coupling and I love Jeff! Have you seen the Cupbouard of Patrick’s Love yet? Brilliant!
The show’s out on DVD in the US, and I just love it. Once the run is over, I highly recommend that you get addicted to My Family. Sometimes a little cruel on the family humor, but very very funny.
This show is the best. I watched them all on my computer with my Netflix account. I laughed so hard. I’m so happy that the love is being spread.
I completely share your love for britcoms. I can’t get enough of As Time Goes By, and Coupling is a guilty pleasure, as my husband doesn’t like it. Other favorites- Mulberry, Vicar of Dibley, Good Neighbors, To the Manor Born, My Hero, and the eternal classic, Are You Being Served?
.. and great acting. Judy is amazing and so was the rest of the cast.
I think I’ve seen every episode of As Time Goes By about 3 times. That was some great writing.
Love. It.
OMG!!! I love Coupling!! Especially Jeff! I bought all 4 seasons. It’s a shame it hasn’t continued and Jeff is not in season 4. But the story has to end somewhere.
