I just got this book on request from the San Francisco library. I can’t believe how quickly it arrived! So far, I love it. War Reporting for Cowards is the story of a hypochondriac celebrity-beat journalist who ends up embedded in Iraq. Funny and insightful.

Someday, I will have a guest room

Living in a California city, you get used to the idea of limited personal space. And when you live with a boy, you also get used to the idea of “gender-neutral” interior design. But someday, I will have a guest room and it will be super girly. Full of all floral prints, bird shaped lamps,…

I don’t even like gum…

I picked up glass sea-urchin vases, dewey howard notebooks and lavender scented pencils from this site a while back.
Cute or not?

Cute or not?

It’s a cashmere “bat wing” sweater. Looks like it could either be really cute or really crazy and overwhelming. Maybe with a big pair of dangly earrings? At $200, I am not buying it either way. Submit your vote in the “comments” section.
